In collaboration with Erste Bank's Open Future Lab department, we were tasked with creating a solution that would activate long-term thinking in people's financial lives. The solution was meant to be for 2050, meaning that how we think about money today was not necessarily a central factor.

The way my group and I chose to approach the task was by addressing the roots of where people begin to develop financial habits – namely, in childhood. In today's society, we noticed that materialism is a recurring theme, causing consumption to take precedence over saving. Materialism acts as a barrier to long-term financial thinking. Our solution, therefore, was a type of system designed to help children learn about responsibility and values at an early age.
